It's times like this I really wish we celebrated Halloween here. My best mate (and horror film buddy) is currently of traipsing about the Inca Trail (lucky git) so I have no one to go and see Paranormal Activity 2 with.

I'm currently watching Boogeyman on channel Go! but it's pretty shite. And I spent the day shopping for a new Christmas tree (old one got ruined in the flood) so I don't particularly feel very Halloween-y.

And is it me or does this emotiocon --> remind you of Muligrubs, or is it just me?

You're shopping for a Christmas tree NOW? Jeez and I thought I was bad. I didn't know you guys don't really celebrate Hallowe'en. I love this time of year. According to old tradition and folklore, starting tonight until the twelfth day of Christmas is the time the dead start walking around - arrr, tis a time of olde magick. (See, I do learn stuff in Anthropology! )

Part of me just really wants to sleep though. I'm still getting over this flu/chest infection. That's been a flipping month now, I'm so behind with work. ;_;

What's Paranormal Activity like? Any decent?

The original was really good. Scared the crap out of me. My brother just went to see the second and says its pretty good to.

You should watch it with a friend though makes it more fun. Also if you're a scaredy cat like me you need at least one other person in the room to hide behind. XD

Man, I seriously wished Australia celebrated Halloween. And sadly, I didn't have the money last week to go to that concert Leading Edge was holding for a Halloween celebration. I'm so upset that I had to miss it!

bahahaha Paranormal Activity I watched that with my mum and through out the whole movie all I could hear was "What a stupid movie" and "What a load of shit". But I thought it was a good movie.

I think to watch the movie and actually be creeped out by it you have to have the right atmosphere.

i.e. a dark empty room, with really good surround sound and people who are just creeped out as you.

The whole room was dark, it's just my mum to her Paranormal Activity is kids movie. She actual turned around to me and said my grandmother had witnessed worse than that.

Good old stereotypes! It's like the entire world thinking every single Scottish person drinks whisky, eats haggis and wears a kilt.

I have an uncle who is Scottish! They're planning on getting him and his best men to wear kilts at his wedding with my Aunt too!

My fella had to dress up in one when his cousin got married. I was very much amused.
Although, as the Soldier in Team Fortress 2 puts it:

Which amuses me to no end. Woo hoo on stereotyping! And woo-bloody-hoo for the awesomeness that is DBZ Abridged.

All jokes aside. I am very happy as I won money on the Melbourne Cup! I completely forgot that I had put money in the sweep at work. XD

I find it funny that the winning horse was named 'Americain' and is owned by a French guy.

You know what's even more funny is there was a horse called myluckyday bahahahaha

I lost interest in horse racing after Makybe Diva (can't remember how to spell the first word) went into retirement after her third win in the Melbourne Cup. That was in 2005 if my memory serves me correct as I can remember being in Grade 6 when everyone crowded around the TV to see history in the making.

I've no idea why the Hell we're talking about horse racing though. Sport is boring!

What is Team Fortress 2? And I totally didn't know that about Scottish weddings!

Team Fortress 2 is a PC/Xbox360/PS3 game. It comes on a game called the Orange Box. With Half-Life and Portal.
It's a first person shooter where you pick one of 9 classes to be and fight it out with either the RED or the BLU team. It's made popular by it's characters. They're just brilliant.

And yes....we English are arrogant. But we're also lovable and brilliant at parties when drunk. XD

Lolz! Sounds like a lot of fun! Too bad I'm not much of a gamer though. The only games I play are any from the Jak and Daxter series (even though I suck at them all aside from the 1st and the 3rd) and the Dragonball Z BT 3 PS2 game. But I suck at that also.

A lot of my mates wear kilts to balls and ceilidhs too. I love them, they're sexy as! I really want a proper one myself, but they're crazy expensive.
